No Regrets

Oct.6.2009 marks the release of Shafiq Husayn's Shafiq En' A Free Ka - on which I engineered, arranged, and produced on. Additionally, I wrote and performed the music on the song "Evil Man", donning my lead vocal/chant plus Bilal on backgrounds. It's been a taxing and grueling few months, but I am glad for the true reciprocity thus so far. Personally AND as the engineer, working with my brothers Shafiq and Miguel-Atwood Ferguson (our composer/arranger) again was evermore life-inspiring, as could have been expected. I, furthermore, hold all the musicians brought unto the fold very dear to me.

In the wake of finishing the album, I have been involved in a new music project/entity alongside my partners Sonny Coates (featured on En A Free Ka's "Major Heavy") and the talented Wow Jones. We have been in the bunker, building an atom bomb.

I have contributed intermittent work to Om'Mas Keith's album and am on-the-low with some other collaborative productions. I am also crafting my own conceptual offering for ears to hear when it is done. I'll be publicly releasing pieces and random sketches from the vault, as well.
